Our priority is to encourage customers, suppliers and business associates to do the same as a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.

Comply with the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice. Minimize our waste and reuse or recycle as much of it as possible. Minimize energy and water usage in our buildings, vehicles and processes in order to conserve supplies, and minimize our consumption of natural resources. Apply the principles of continuous improvement in respect of air, water, noise and light pollution from our premises and reduce any impact from our operations on the environment and local community. As far as possible purchase products and services that do the least damage to the environment and encourage others to do the same.  Ensure our employees understand our environmental policy and conform to the high standards it requires. Address complaints of any breach of our Environmental Policy promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned.

PCC Waste Management operates under the Health and Safety Policy, which states: The PCC Waste Management organization is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of its employees, of others who carry out work on its behalf and of all those who may be affected by its work. It also recognizes the vital importance of discharging all its statutory obligations and placing health and safety as an over-riding priority above all other business objectives. At PCC Waste Management the minimum acceptable health and safety standards are those required by relevant national and international legislation. Through a process of self-improvement, we will not only meet all such standards but, where possible, exceed them, thus placing the PCC Waste Management at the forefront of best practice and enabling us to influence others accordingly. All staff, workforce and others employed by the PCC Waste Management are required to comply with this policy.
