The Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Division started its operations in 2002. The operations of this division are centralised in Bahrain with fully fledged offices spread over major projects and construction sites throughout Poullaides Construction Company’s.
The division is managed by highly qualified, well trained and experienced engineers supported by skilled technicians and workers; installing quality products and materials and applying workmanship of the highest standards with main aim to meet the requirements and satisfy the needs of the end user.
The success of our Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing operations is due to a dedicated team of engineers and supervisors who continue to provide solutions to challenging and complex projects in the construction industry. The division lays emphasis on regular training to update knowledge on latest technology available to ensure that our clients receive the best technical solutions for their jobs.
The Electrical Division is certified to ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018 Standard and is approved by the Electricity Directorate of Bahrain as a ‘GRADE-ONE – Unrestricted Load’ Electrical Contractor (EDD Licence No. 110059).
The division operates across all project types, delivering fully coordinated scopes — either as standalone packages or as part of PCC’s wider turnkey construction offering.
HVAC system design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning — including VRF, AHU and FCU solutions suited to the Gulf climate.
Chilled water systems incorporating chiller plant, cooling towers and primary and secondary pumping circuits.
Building Management Systems integration and commissioning for centralised monitoring and control of all building services.
Mechanical ventilation, smoke extract and stairwell pressurisation systems designed to Civil Defence requirements.
Fire suppression systems including wet and dry sprinklers, gaseous suppression and hydrant networks to NFPA standards.
Thermal and acoustic insulation to pipework, ductwork and equipment in line with project energy efficiency requirements.
Complete LV power distribution including switchgear, distribution boards, cabling, containment and earthing systems.
MV switchgear, transformer rooms and substation fit-out in coordination with the Electricity and Water Authority of Bahrain.
Interior and exterior lighting installations including energy-efficient LED, emergency escape and architectural lighting schemes.
Earthing networks and external lightning protection systems designed and installed to BS EN 62305.
Diesel generator, ATS and UPS installations providing standby and critical power continuity for essential facilities.
Addressable fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, structured cabling and public address installations.
Cold and hot water supply, storage, pressurisation and distribution systems installed in compliance with EWA regulations.
Internal and external foul drainage, stormwater drainage and connection to public authority networks.
Full sanitary fit-out including fixtures, fittings and disabled-access compliant facilities.
Booster pump sets, sump pumps and sewage pumping stations with controls and telemetry.
Automated drip and spray irrigation networks incorporating smart controllers and solenoid valve assemblies.
Water treatment systems including softeners, filtration units and chemical dosing for commercial and industrial applications.
