CYPELLETS

CyPellets was formed in 2017, partly as a response to Cyprus’ recycling problems. With 626 kg per person per year, Cyprus has the second highest amount of household waste in the EU. In Cyprus 75% of waste goes to the landfill sites where it is buried. This is much higher than the EU average of 28% leading to Cyprus paying penalties towards the EU.

With island wide operations, our mission is to serve communities by increasing national awareness through investments in projects that, in turn increase Cyprus’ percentage of recycled materials. CyPellets currently employ more than 45 staff dedicated to collecting, transporting and disposing Polyethylene (PE) film and Polypropylene (PP), PE rigid plastics waste. We process this waste into recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Low  Density Polyethylene (LDPE) pellets.
